Media Release 11 December 2022
Right to Life believes that the government’s Royal Commission of inquiry is an important part of the government’s 2023 election campaign.
The Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern announced on Monday 5th December, that there would be a Royal Commission of inquiry on the government response to the Covid-19 Pandemic. During the post-Cabinet media release on Monday she stated that this would be the highest form of public inquiry and the “right thing to do”. She also said it will be one of the most wide-ranging inquiries ever undertaken and would cost about $15 million. It turns out that the inquiry will be so limited in scope as to be a whitewash.
Right to Life is concerned that the Prime Minister has decided to restrict the terms of reference of the inquiry and also to exclude all other political parties from discussions about the terms of reference. The community who will pay for this inquiry are also excluded. In 2017 the Prime Minister told us that her government was going to be the most transparent and accountable government we had ever seen. This claim has been seen to be a complete farce and Right to Life have to ask whether we now live in a parliamentary democracy or in in a dictatorship?
Right to Life believes that the community should be concerned that the terms of reference for the inquiry completely exclude what we and many others view as the most important aspects for this inquiry including.
- The specific epidemiology of the Covid-19 virus and its variants
- The vaccine’s efficacy
The inquiry will not address questions of origin of the virus. Conclusive evidence has found that the virus did in fact originate from a lab in Wuhan. The inquiry will not inquire into the safety and efficacy of the Pfizer experimental gene therapy.
The Prime Minister has advised that a Royal Commission of Inquiry will only look at how the Government handled the Covid-19 pandemic. Stated to be the highest form of public inquiry we believe that the inquiry will in fact be a whitewash.
The inquiry will only cover decisions on the border, community care, isolation, quarantine, as well as the economic response, from February 2020 to October 2022.
It would “broadly” look into decisions, such as those to use lockdowns and regional boundaries, but won’t address more specific questions such as how long places went into lockdown and whether, in fact, the impact of the lockdowns and other the overall government responses were justified. Right to Life believes that these responses were more harmful than the virus itself.
Right to Life asks why inquiry into the decisions made by the government, that resulted in thousands of health workers, teachers and others who lost their employment and hundreds of people who lost their businesses, will be excluded from this inquiry? The government’s claim that the inquiry is to be wide ranging is simply farcical.
Right to Life wants to know why the government continues to fail to address the following extremely important questions:
- How safe and how effective are the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA experimental gene therapies?
- Has the spike protein in the vaccines permanently invaded the organs of those vaccinated?
- Have the vaccines permanently damaged our immune systems and changed the human genome?
- Have the vaccines been responsible for the 7% increase in unexplained deaths in New Zealand in 2021. (Overseas data shows that the rate of unexplained deaths are in fact far higher than this.)
- Is the spike been transferred to babies through breast feeding vaccinated mothers?
- Why did Medsafe give provisional approval for these vaccines when they had not been fully tested?
- Did the government violate our human rights by mandating these vaccines with loss of work for those who sought to protect their lives by refusing these vaccines?
- When Pfizer admitted that their injections did not prevent the transmission of the virus, why did the government continue to mandate them, resulting in job losses and hardship for thousands of New Zealanders?
