Upholding the sanctity of Human life and Standing Up for the Vulnerable
The March for Life Christchurch is now only 3 weeks away.
Media Release 19 March 2022
Right to Life believes that the government of Jacinda Ardern, having succeeded in passing the Abortion Legislation Act 2020 to effectively provide for the killing of unborn children up to birth, is now implementing its plan to silence all dissent and to force the community to accept and believe that the violent murder of the unborn is in the seductive words of the Prime Minister, “a reproductive health choice for women.” This is seeking to make lies respectable and the murder of the unborn acceptable.
The Contraception Sterilisation and Abortion [safe area] Amendment Bill now makes it a crime to oppose violence against women and the killing of unborn children within a designated safe area of 150 metres around abortion facilities. The bill had the support of 62 Labour MPs, 24 National MPs, 10 Green, 10 ACT and 2 Maori MPs. The bill was opposed by 9 National and 3 Labour MPs. This was supposed to be a conscience vote but it is believed that Labour MPs were, with several exceptions required to vote for the bill.
Right to Life believes that this is but the first step in the government’s secret agenda in its war against women to suppress all dissent against the violence of abortion on women and their precious unborn. Right to Life expects that the government’s hate speech laws will criminalise any speech that opposes abortion, this will be a threat to churches that teach that abortion is a violation of the fifth commandment, intrinsically evil and offensive to our Creator. The government knows that it is necessary to have the total support of the media to achieve their objective.
In 2021 the government invested $55 million in the media to obtain their support under the guise of “promoting responsible journalism.” Right to Life believes that we now have a media that has abandoned its duty as the fourth estate and has become the servant of the government by promoting propaganda in place of truth, the community are not deceived.
The designated safe area violates our human rights, it is a tyranny that permits the suppression of our human rights of free speech, assembly and communication which are intended to be protected by the New Zealand Bill of Rights.
Parliament has now made it a crime to offer compassionate and loving help to women seeking to kill their child, to offer them information about life affirming alternatives such as parenting and adoption. This will include the family and father of an unborn child who want to offer help to prevent the killing of the child. This is a crime against women. Any persons committing this crime may be arrested, charged with this offence, brought to the court and on conviction fined $1,000.
It will not be a crime however to demonstrate in support of killing the unborn or to offer support and encouragement for abortion. Persons doing so are exercising their right to free speech, assembly and communication and will have the protection of the Police.
Right to Life will not rest until this anti-life and anti-feminist legislation is repealed and our right to free speech, assembly and communication is upheld.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer German Lutheran pastor, theologian, anti-Nazi dissident, stood up for the unborn. He was hanged by the Nazis for his opposition to their ideology and because he opposed Hitler.
The media should be at the service of humanity, with a clear moral duty to inform citizens by seeking the truth and exposing injustice.
Today we are witnessing the single most serious crime ever committed against humanity involving the total violation of human rights.
The cold blooded murder of unborn children who are the weakest and most defenceless members of our human family is a slaughter that goes hand in hand with the war against women.
The media should be a voice for the voiceless but instead they have become a force that is conspiring in the destruction of the innocent.
It is time for us to awake from our slumber. Our nation is in grave mortal danger from a culture of death confronting us in what has rightly been called an abortion holocaust,
The Jewish holocaust and the abortion holocaust emanate from the same culture of death, which lusts for the blood of the innocent and denies the inalienable right to life endowed by God, on every human being at the moment of conception.
Those who don’t learn from history are bound to repeat it.
There are striking similarities between the Nazi holocaust that brought more than six million Jews to Auschwitz and other concentration camps to be murdered and the abortion holocaust that murders more than fifty-six million unborn children every year in abortions.
Over the main entrance gate at Auschwitz were the words in German, “Work makes you free” This was a lie. A similar sign hiding another lie, could be placed over the entrance of our abortion mills, “Abortion makes you Free.” .
The Nazis justified the killing of Jews by declaring that they were not human beings and that they had no right to life. Today unborn children are killed in New Zealand under the pretext that they are not human beings and do not have a right to life.
The Nazi government in mid 1940, declared that the destruction of the “unwanted” Jewish community in Europe could be most efficiently achieved by instituting a standardised system for the gassing of Jews in concentration camps, overseen by German doctors, This was termed “The Final Solution“. Our government, with equal efficiency, has set up a standardised system for the killing of the unborn at killing centres overseen by doctors. This is the governments “Final Solution” for disposing of unwanted unborn, the new Jews and heinously it is called a health service.
At Auschwitz, the bodies of the victims were incinerated as waste. Today, the human remains and bodies of the unborn killed in abortion facilities are almost to a child, incinerated as “medical waste”.
During the war it was considered expedient and in the best interest of the Jewish community for the Churches to remain silent. Today it is not expedient nor is it in the best interest of the unborn to remain silent. Why then, is there generally a deafening silence from the Churches?
At Auschwitz the Nazis used Zykon B gas to kill the Jews. The gas was made by the German drug manufacturer, IG Faban. After the war it changed its name to Hoechst AG. Doctors are now using the murder pill, RU 486 to kill babies by starvation during the first nine weeks of pregnancy.
This human pesticide is manufactured by the French drug manufacturer, Roussel Uclaf, a subsidiary of Hoechst AG. Evil may change its name but not its face.
After the war, those responsible for the crimes against humanity at Auschwitz were tried at the Nuremburg War Crimes Tribunal. Many were executed or imprisoned. Today, those guilty of crimes against humanity in our killing centres for the unborn are honoured by the government and the Queen“for services to women.” Today, evil is rewarded as virtue and virtue dismissed as evil. Do we now owe an apology to those tried at Nuremburg?
The following quote has been attributed to Edmund Burke “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
What indictment will history accord to those in government and the community who remained silent in the face of the peril facing our nation?

MARCH FOR LIFE CHRISTCHURCH
Right to Life commends the more than 1,000 Cantabrian men, women and children who peacefully and joyfully marched from Cathedral Square to Victoria Square in Christchurch today, to express their support for a culture of life with love for mothers and their precious unborn.
Marchers were there to express opposition to the culture of death that threatens the lives of our unborn children and the welfare of women, the second victim of the violence of abortion. We remember the more than 500,000 innocent and defenceless New Zealand unborn children who have been killed since 1978. This same culture now also threatens the vulnerable in our community with euthanasia.
The marchers gave witness to our community to the sanctity of life of every human being from conception to natural death. They also gave a strong message to Parliament and government that we reject the Abortion Legislation Act 2020 that rejects the humanity of the unborn child and its right to life until it is born.
We will not rest until it is repealed. The marchers also reject the End of Life Choice Act and encouraged the community to vote No at the referendum. Voters were also encouraged to vote only for candidates who are committed to protecting life.
May our Parliament be attentive to the message we respectfully present, that we are absolutely opposed to the culture of death that our Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has inflicted on our country by removing abortion from the Crimes Act. Under the Abortion Legislation Act it is no longer a crime to kill an unborn child up to birth. In Jacinda Ardern’s own words killing an unborn child is now “a reproductive choice for women.” Ardern has also been a strong advocate for the End of Life Choice Act that would empower doctors to give a lethal injection to their patients or assist in their suicide.
The march began at the Cathedral Square and the marchers, in compliance with the level two restrictions walked in groups of 100 in warm sunny conditions through the streets of central Christchurch to Victoria Square where they were addressed by Pro-Life and Pro-family advocates who spoke passionately about the need to continue to speak out against the government’s war on women and unborn children.
Those who marched, want New Zealand to be a nation where the beauty and dignity of every human life is valued and protected from conception.
