Under the Biden administration, American taxpayers once again are being forced to fund scientific experiments using aborted baby body parts.

It is a major shift from the Trump administration, which cut off funding after undercover videos caught Planned Parenthood allegedly selling aborted baby body parts and conservative news outlets uncovered a study in which scientists implanted scalps from second-trimester aborted babies onto rodents.

The National Catholic Register reports the Biden administration allocated $88 million for human fetal tissue research in 2022 through the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Biden also disbanded an ethical review board to review funding requests, so now there is little oversight to ensure Americans’ tax dollars are being used ethically.

Father Tad Pacholczyk, the director of education and staff ethicist at the National Catholic Bioethics Center, told the Register that Biden quickly reversed course on fetal tissue research, and now is “returning us to the prior situation where fetal tissue research faced very few practical barriers or limitations.”

One particularly disturbing experiment that taxpayers funded through the University of Pittsburgh involved scalping second-trimester aborted babies and implanting their scalps onto rodents to study the human immune system. The information came from a study published in 2020 in the journal “Scientific Reports,” which included photos showing small tufts of baby hair growing on the rodents.

Last year, Judicial Watch and David Daleiden, founder of the Center for Medical Progress, which exposed Planned Parenthood’s involvement in aborted baby body parts harvesting, also uncovered evidence suggesting that some babies may be being born alive in abortions before their organs are harvested for scientific research at the University of Pittsburgh.

Speaking with the Register, Daleiden said American leaders need to be “loud and bold about these topics and keep talking about them and demanding answers from the government, Planned Parenthood and institutions like Pitt.”

A recent investigation commissioned by the University of Pittsburgh found no wrong-doing in the university scientists’ experiments with aborted baby body parts, but pro-life leaders criticized it for failing to examine important aspects of the research.

“The University of Pittsburgh lawyered up and tried to call it ‘transparency,’ yet refused to examine the actual abortion and organ-harvesting practices at its affiliated clinical locations like UPMC Magee and Planned Parenthood Western Pennsylvania,” Daleiden said.

“Planned Parenthood’s abortion providers are on staff at the University of Pittsburgh and perform abortions at UPMC to obtain the fetuses for the university’s experiments,” he explained to the Register. “Planned Parenthood Western Pennsylvania is a ‘contracted care site’ for the university, part of the university medical system. The so-called ‘regulatory assessment’ released by Pitt a few weeks ago in fact determined that Planned Parenthood abortion providers at UPMC routinely failed to document patient consent correctly — even to the point that some consent forms were not signed.”

Daleiden’s and others’ investigative work has raised very serious questions about the abortion industry, aborted baby body parts and scientific research, and as of yet, there are few answers. Yet, the Biden administration has charged ahead with re-instituting taxpayer funding for these unethical projects, many of them funded through Dr. Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

A recent report from White Coat Waste, a group that opposes experimentation on animals, highlighted that the NIH plans to spend $88 million on human fetal-tissue research this year, with $27 million already approved for ongoing research. It detailed several experiments involving the transplanting of organs from aborted babies on to mice. In one such experiment at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, “mice were implanted with minced pieces of fetal bone marrow, liver and thymus to make their bodies mimic the human immune system — or, in the words of the experimenters, ‘BLT-humanized mice.’”

Another experiment involved “implanting two pieces of human fetal lung tissue (Advanced Bioscience Resources) subcutaneously into the back” of the mice.

The Trump administration began to crack down on this funding in response to pro-lifers’ concerns. It canceled several contracts, including one involving “humanized mice,” and took other steps to stop funding unethical research, including through the formation of the new advisory board.

Trump also established a bioethics advisory board that recommended that the government reject grants for 13 research projects that plan to use aborted baby body parts. Trump appointed a number of leading pro-life researchers and bioethicists to the board, but Biden later disbanded it.

The Trump administration also invested $20 million into promoting ethical alternatives to aborted baby parts in scientific research.

Within the first 100 days of taking office, however, President Joe Biden’s administration reversed these pro-life actions. Now, Americans’ tax dollars are being used again to fund gristly experiments, such as implanting aborted babies’ scalps and fingers onto mice for scientists to study.

Government vaccine mandates of Police and Defence Force unlawful

Right to Life welcomes the brilliant judgement of Justice Francis Cooke in the High Court on the lawfulness of the vaccine mandate imposed by the government on members of the Police force and the Defence force.

 The community is indebted to these courageous citizens who brought this important conscience issue to the High Court.

The judgement is a victory for the supremacy of the conscience of the individual over the dictates of a controlling state. It upholds the human right of the appellants to exercise their conscience in refusing the demand of the government to subject their bodies to a medical procedure, specifically, the experimental Pfizer gene therapy.

Right to Life believes that this judgement gives support and encouragement to the thousands of hard working doctors, nurses, health care workers, teachers and other New Zealanders who have been cruelly deprived of their profession and work because they refused the demand of the government to accept the Pfizer vaccine.

Never before in the history of New Zealand has the right to work been subject to our vaccination status.

Justice Cooke accepted the appellants’ claim that the government mandate violated their human rights guaranteed by the NZ Bill of Rights Act 1990, the right to refuse a medical treatment and the right to manifest religious beliefs.

The appellants recognised and argued that the Pfizer “vaccine’ had been tested with the cell line HEK 293 which was unethically produced from a baby killed in a late term abortion performed by caesarean section. The baby, while still alive and without an anaesthetic, had its kidney painfully removed to be used to produce a cell line. This was an appalling violation of the right to life of the child and a crime against humanity.

Right to Life requests that the government accepts the just judgement of Justice Cooke and now revoke vaccination mandates and restore employment to the thousands of New Zealanders deprived of their work through the punitive and damaging mandates.

The government knew, when it purchased the Pfizer and other vaccines, that they had been produced or tested with cell lines from aborted babies. Right to Life again requests that the government purchase only vaccines that have been ethically produced and tested without the use of cell lines derived from babies killed in abortions.

Mandatory Vaccinations Violate Human Rights

It is an appalling injustice that the state should threaten tens of thousands of workers in New Zealand with the loss of their employment and income to feed and provide for their families if they refuse an order to violate their conscience by taking the Pfizer vaccine. 

Right to Life believes that the government of Jacinda Ardern is threatening the human rights of New Zealanders by declaring that health workers and those employed in education have a duty to be vaccinated in order to retain their employment. This includes general practitioners, chemists, midwives, paramedics and rest home staff. It includes primary, secondary teachers and pre -school staff. Who will be next?

The government has decided that these important professionals are a serious threat to public health if they exercise their legal right to choose not to accept the Pfizer vaccine.

Right to Life questions why persons who refuse to take this experimental medical treatment being treated as a serious public health threat when those who are vaccinated are just as likely to carry and spread Covid as the unvaccinated.

On 20th September 2020 Jacinda Ardern was quoted as saying “Not only will there be no forced vaccinations, but those who choose to opt-out won’t face any penalties at all”.

The PM, Jacinda Ardern, before the election in 2020 was asked by Duncan Garner on the AM show  “was the government going to apply penalties to those who refused to take the Covid 19 vaccine?”.

She said, “no and we haven’t for any vaccine in New Zealand, applied penalties in that way”.

Mandatory vaccinations violate the Nuremburg Convention, the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act 1990, which protects the right to life, the right to refuse medical treatment, and the right to practice one’s religion. The Human Rights Act 1993 includes the right not to be discriminated against. The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights protects the right to privacy.

 Right to Life accepts that the government has a responsibility to protect public health and asks,” why we should trust the government to protect the lives and health of the community when it authorises and funds the killing of more than 13,000 defenceless unborn New Zealanders every year”.

Right to Life supports voluntary vaccination with ethically produced and developed vaccines which are safe and effective. The long term adverse reactions to the Pfizer vaccine are not known as the study does not conclude till January 2023.

Right to Life cannot support this government’s contention that the seriousness of the current pandemic overrides these concerns. We believe that recent evidence shows that those taking an mRNA “vaccine” are potentially permanently altering their body’s immune system in ways which are not fully tested, researched or understood.

We believe that recent evidence shows that those take the mRNA vaccine may be permanently altering their body’s immune system.

Right to Life is therefore disappointed that the government is giving no choice to choose an ethically produced and tested vaccine. We are therefore opposed to mandatory vaccination for the following reasons:-

  • Mandatory vaccination is a violation of human rights.
  • The state is ignoring the conscience of many in the community who are opposed to accepting the Pfizer vaccine, therefore taking it is a violation of their conscience, as it has been tested using a cell line derived from aborted babies.
  • The benefits of the Pfizer vaccine do not justify the state imposing the mandatory vaccination on a sector of the workforce. According to data published in the Lancet, the effectiveness of the Pfizer vaccine in combatting the Delta variant, diminishes rapidly over time. After six months of full vaccination it diminishes in effectiveness from 88% to only 65%.
  • The government wishes to establish safe areas free of Covid 19 by excluding the unvaccinated, this ignores the fact that the vaccinated may carry the virus and spread it to others.

Why are the government and media hiding the truth about the Pfizer Vaccine?

Right to Life asks why is the government refusing to reveal to the public that the Pfizer vaccine is morally compromised, having been tested by the use of the cell line HEK 293, which was developed from tissue taken from aborted babies?

 The Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, told us in 2017 that she would provide New Zealand with the most transparent and accountable government that we had ever seen. Why then are you withholding this very important information from the community? Why too is the media complicit in this shameful cover-up?

The code of health rights upholds the right of informed consent. Every person considering the government’s campaign to encourage them to accept vaccination has an absolute right to be informed of the immoral use of the organs of aborted babies who did not give consent to their being killed and their organs being used to develop cell lines for the production and testing of vaccines. This is a violation of human rights and a crime against humanity.

Right to Life is not opposed to vaccination and supports voluntary fully informed vaccination with ethically developed and tested vaccines.  

It is immoral and a violation of human rights to remove a child from the womb by caesarean section to obtain a functioning organ, and while still alive to remove the child’s kidney to develop a cell line that may be used to produce and test vaccines.

Right to Life believes that the government of Jacinda Ardern which authorised and funded the killing of 13 238 unborn children in 2020 does not see this as a moral issue and is using the vaccine campaign to convince the community that the Pfizer vaccine is safe, effective and ethical.

The government believes that the community do not have a right to know that the vaccine was tested with a cell line from aborted babies.

The government has a serious moral obligation to purchase vaccines that have been ethically produced, and there are many  Covid-19 vaccines currently being developed.

The other Covid-19 vaccines purchased from Moderna, AstraZeneca, Jansen Pharmaceutica and Novavax are also morally compromised.

Right to Life encourages the community to ask that the government uphold the sanctity of life by purchasing in the future, only Covid-19 vaccines that are ethically produced and tested and that do not use cell lines from aborted babies.

Government purchases unethically tested Novavax vaccine

Right to Life is disappointed that the government has purchased the morally compromised Novavax Covid-19 vaccine which has been tested using the cell line of aborted babies, HEK 293.

 It is the government’s intention to use the Novavax vaccine as a booster to the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. Right to Life requests that the government require Novavax to provide New Zealand with vaccines that have not been tested with the cell lines of aborted babies.

Right to Life wrote to the previous Minister of Health, the Hon. David Clark on 9th May 2020, requesting that the government resolve to only purchase vaccines that were not produced or tested using cell lines from aborted babies, it is disappointing that this request was declined.

Right to Life supports voluntary vaccination, with ethically produced and tested vaccines that have not been defiled by using or testing with the cell lines of aborted babies.

We believe that to conform to the requirements of informed consent, every person offered a morally compromised vaccine has an absolute right to be informed of its unethical production or testing.

The murder of the unborn in an abortion is intrinsically evil, it violates the Fifth Commandment, Thou shalt not kill, and it offends God the Creator.

It is immoral and a violation of human rights to remove a child from the womb and to obtain a functioning organ, and while still alive to remove the child’s kidney to develop a cell line that may be used to produce and test vaccines.

All those who believe in the sanctity of life are obligated to oppose the killing of the unborn and the use of their organs to produce cell lines for use in vaccine production.

The government has a serious moral obligation to purchase vaccines that have been ethically produced, there are many currently being developed.

It is disappointing that the government has not informed those receiving the Pfizer vaccine that it is morally compromised having been tested using the cell line of aborted babies. The other vaccines purchased from Moderna, AstraZeneca and Jansen Pharmaceutica are also morally compromised.

The government is highly commended for seeking to protect the health and lives of born citizens in New Zealand through its untiring efforts to avoid infection in the community and from overseas arrivals.

The criteria adopted by the government in the purchase of vaccines is that they are effective, safe and available. It is now time for the government to include for future purchases as the first priority, that they are ethically produced.

Government purchases Covid-19 Vaccines produced from or tested on aborted babies cell lines.

Government Purchases Covid-19 Vaccines Produced from or tested on  Aborted Babies Cell Lines.

Right to Life is disappointed that the government has ignored a submission sent to the Minister of Health, Hon David Clark on 9 May 2020 requesting that the government resolves to purchase only Covid-19 vaccines that were not produced or tested with cell lines from aborted babies.

Right to Life is therefore disappointed that the government did not include in its criteria the purchase of vaccines that were ethically developed and tested with cell lines that were not derived from aborted babies.  

The government’s Vaccine Strategy announced on 28 May 2020 that its strategy was to purchase vaccines that were “safe, effective and available in sufficient numbers at the earliest possible time.” Purchasing unethically produced vaccines was not an issue.

The New Zealand Science Centre, funded by the Ministry of Research, Science & Technology, posted comment from six scientific experts on 27 August 2020, seeking to justify the government’s purchase of unethically produced Covid-19 vaccines.

The government has agreements to purchase 4 vaccines. The vaccines purchased from Pfizer & BioNTech and Novavaxab have been produced ethically without the use of embryonic cell lines from aborted babies, however, there has been some testing using the cell lines of aborted babies.

Vaccines purchased from Astra Zeneca and Jannsen Pharmaceutica have been developed and tested with embryonic cell lines of aborted babies.

There is no necessity for the government to purchase vaccines that have been developed from cell lines created from the killing of innocent unborn children.

Right to Life believes that the government is seeking through its vaccination programme:-

·       To seduce the community into accepting a culture of death with the murder of innocent unborn children as an essential part of our health service and the use of their organs to develop cell lines for the production and testing of Covid-19 vaccines.

·       To accept vaccines that have been developed and tested with cell lines from aborted babies.

·       To disregard peoples justified objection to accepting a vaccine produced or tested with cell lines from aborted babies, by not offering choice of an acceptable alternative vaccine

·       To refuse to encourage the pharmaceutical industry to dispense with unethical cell lines for the production and testing of vaccines.

“The blood of murdered unborn children cries to God from abortion-tainted vaccines and medicines. The first crime is to have killed a child. The second is to have used and processed these cell lines. To then use these cell lines for testing is yet another crime. We cannot collaborate in this accumulation of crimes and we cannot benefit in any way from their by-products.”

We may not do evil to achieve good.

Government has duty to uphold right of informed consent on Covid 19 vaccination

Right to Life believes that the government will be acting unlawfully if they do not provide information to consumers on the immoral and unethical development and testing of vaccines which utilise cell line tissue from aborted children.

It is a crime against humanity and a violation of human rights to deprive hundreds of innocent, defenceless unborn children of their right to life, in order to experiment on them for the purpose of producing suitable cell lines for the development and testing of vaccines, including Covid 19 vaccines.

The Code of Health and Disability Services Consumers Rights establishes the legal rights of consumers and the obligations and duties of providers to comply with the Code. Right to Life believes that every consumer has a right to honest and accurate information.

It is believed that the babies chosen were of 12 or more weeks gestation. The babies were delivered by caesarean section as the researchers required the babies in good condition and undamaged. The babies would probably be alive and experiencing excruciating pain. The researchers would immediately remove the kidney from the living child without anaesthetic to avoid damaging the kidney.

This was a planned assault on the defenceless baby by mother, doctors, nurses and the vaccine development team, who had given consent to killing the child for the diabolical purpose of developing a cell line for the development of a vaccine, ultimately developed to combat Covid-19.

Every consumer has an absolute right to make an informed choice and to give informed consent.

Right to make an informed choice and give informed consent

(1) Services may be provided to a consumer only if that consumer makes an informed choice and gives informed consent, except where any enactment, or the common law, or any other provision of this Code provides otherwise.

Right to Life believes that no consumer can give an informed consent if the government is going to withhold important information concerning the use of body parts from children who were killed before birth that were used to develop cell lines.

Right 1 Requires that consumers are treated with respect. Every consumer has the right to be provided with services that take into account the values and religious beliefs of the consumer. The vaccination programme fails to respect the values and religious beliefs of those who are opposed to the killing of the unborn and the use of fetal organs to produce cell lines.

Right 2 Provides protection against discrimination, coercion, harassment and exploitation. The vaccine programme discriminates against those who are opposed to the killing of the unborn and the use of fetal organs to produce cell lines. The programme discriminates because it offers no ethical alternative.

Right 6 states that every consumer has the right to honest and accurate answers to questions relating to services.

The government’s Immunisation and Advisory Centre web site stresses quality, safety and efficacy but nothing about the violent killing of the unborn to produce cell lines for development and testing of vaccines. The web site states:-

“Covid 19 vaccines contain fetal cells. Human cell lines are sometimes used in vaccine manufacturing as this is known to be safe.”

Why is the government hiding the fact that the fetal cells were obtained by killing defenceless unborn children in the sanctuary of their mother’s womb?

These children had their kidneys painfully extracted while they were probably still living.

This is an appalling crime against humanity.

Unborn children are created by God to love and to be loved.

Children in the womb were not created to be brutally killed and to be treated as a commodity to be used for unethical scientific experimentation.

The killing of unborn children is intrinsically evil, it is always a grave offence against God the creator of life. It is also an unspeakable violation of the right to life of the child. This is a culture of death that is destroying our nation.

The government commences its Covid-19 vaccination information campaign next week. Right to Life requests that the government uphold the right of consumers to be fully informed about the development and testing of vaccines with unethical cell lines derived from the killing of unborn babies.

Why is Jacinda Ardern Seeking to Impose Capital Punishment on the Unborn as a Reproductive Health Choice for Women?

The method of execution in New Zealand of murderers under capital punishment prior to 1961 was by hanging, relatively quick. However the most common method of execution for the unborn these days is by surgical dismemberment, which entails violently and painfully tearing off the arms, legs and head off the victim. The bodies of the accused are then treated as “medical waste” and are disposed of at the local land fill.

The Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern is passionate and driven in her desire to reinforce capital punishment not for brutal and violent rapists and murderers, but for the defenceless and innocent unborn who have been found guilty of a more serious crime, the crime of being “unwanted”. Capital punishment is being reaffirmed and reformed by taking abortion out of the Crimes Act and making Capital punishment for the unborn, health care and “a reproductive choice for women”.

The Prime Minister supports the abolition of Capital punishment for rapists and murderers; why then is she determined to retain and extend Capital punishment for the unborn who are the most innocent and defenceless members of our human family.

Right to Life is determined that should the Labour led government  present an abortion bill to Parliament, we will ensure that the state funded execution of our children will be a major issue at the next general election.

The Prime Minister confirmed her opposition to the death penalty in the media on 2 April 2019. “New Zealand has always stood against the death penalty, in all its forms, for any reason”. The government is a leading voice in the United Nations for the abolition of Capital Punishment. Excuse me Prime Minister, why then are you personally promoting, funding and indeed driving the legislation which will effectively remove all protections for the unborn and result in the ongoing execution every year of more than 12,000 innocent children?

Family Planning and other vocal advocates for capital punishment for the unborn insist that the process be accessible and that the sentence be carried out without delay, all the while disguising this mass execution as “a reproductive health choice for women” and as health care. Right to Life is determined to oppose this Labour government led genocide.


Capital punishment for murder was removed from the statute books in 1961. There was a total of 85 convicted criminals executed in New Zealand between 1842 and 1957. New Zealand still retains the death penalty for its unborn children. Since 1977, the government has presided over the execution and killing of more than 500,000 innocent and defenceless unborn children who were found guilty of being “unwanted.” Being an unwanted unborn child in New Zealand effectively, is more often than not, a capital offence and means that, more than likely you will be subject to the death penalty.

For the unborn being unwanted is a serious crime, punishable by death. The sentence is imposed by doctors appointed by the Abortion Supervisory Committee, the trial is brief, no witnesses are called in the defence of the child and the sentence of death is carried out as quickly as possible; in a Public Hospital. The executions are authorised and funded by the government.

The government continues to delude itself in believing that it has an admirable and exemplary human rights record. The truth is that the government’s hands are covered in the blood of our aborted children and the consciences of our politicians must share in the guilt for this bloodshed and for the grief and sorrow inflicted on the poor mothers, the second victims of abortion.

Vaccines, Abortion and Fetal Tissue

For several years now, information has circulated among prolife groups and individuals regarding the development of very common vaccines through the use of tissue taken from aborted babies. While initially the reports and information were not conclusively documented, further detailed research by several prolife groups has provided direct proof of a connection between aborted fetal tissue and many vaccines. That connection, and its implications for whether prolife citizens should consider using the vaccines, raises some complicated issues. In sorting through those issues, this LifeNotes will address the basic science involved, the documentation of the abortion-vaccine connection, the moral/ethical questions about using abortion-tainted vaccines, and information about available alternative vaccines.

Basic vaccine and cell line science

The vaccine process works by collecting samples of the actual virus, then growing and altering them in the laboratory to make a weakened strain of the disease. The weakened strain is put into a serum and administered into the body (usually by injection). The body’s immune system is more capable of attacking and destroying the weakened virus, and thus develops the ability to effectively fight off the actual disease should the person ever be exposed to it. The advent of vaccines was a major milestone in medicine, saving millions of lives and saving many others from the devastating effects of diseases like polio and diphtheria.

In order to develop the weakened viral strain, there must be a medium or “cell culture” to grow it in. The virus invades the culture cells, feeds off the cell, matures, and multiplies. The cell cultures are a single type of cell that multiplies itself in a predictable fashion and can be sustained in a laboratory setting for years, even decades. These long-lasting cell cultures are called “cell lines.” The original cells that start these cell lines have been taken from a wide variety of sources, from monkey embryo and kidney cells, to chicken and rabbit embryos, and tragically, from aborted human babies.

The issue of concern is that many common vaccines were developed using cell lines that originally were cells taken from electively aborted babies. The vaccines themselves do not contain fetal cells, but there are significant “residual” biological components from the fetal cells that have been assimilated into the vaccine, including cell proteins and measurable portions of fetal DNA.
