The Inconvenient Truth – Abortion Breast Cancer Link

Why is the New Zealand Cancer Society refusing to provide the women of New Zealand with information on the link between abortion and breast cancer? In November 2015 Right to Life asked the Cancer Society why the following statement could not be shown on its web site:

“That an abortion leaves a woman with more cancer vulnerable cells than she had before the abortion.” In view of the fact that this biological fact is accepted by the scientific community, is there any reason why this information cannot be shown?

The Cancer Society replied that; ”Based on our review of the evidence the Society will not currently be changing our position on the suggested link between abortion and breast cancer.”

Right to Life believes that the Cancer Society has a serious duty to the women of New Zealand to provide them with this important information. To refuse to show it is shameful.

How many women must die, before the medical profession and the Cancer Society admit the inconvenient truth that abortions increase the risk of breast cancer?

Scientific Review Recommends Informing Patients about Abortion-Breast Cancer Link, Risks of Birth Control Pills and Menopausal Therapy

A second scientific review in 2014 has strongly urged physicians to warn patients about the abortion-breast cancer (ABC) link before an abortion and argued the evidence for a cause-effect relationship is substantial.[1,2] A. Patrick Schneider and his colleagues authored the latest review entitled, “The breast cancer epidemic: 10 facts,” for the journal, The Linacre Quarterly.[1]
There are multiple, serious, health risks[3,4] associated with using the birth control pill and combined hormone replacement therapy (CHRT), both of which contain estrogen and progestin, although the former contains a larger dose. The authors of both reviews urged physicians to warn patients about the harms of taking either these drugs.

Abortion and Breast Cancer a Conspiracy of Silence

This week we commemorate World Cancer Day. Right to Life congratulates the New Zealand Cancer Society and the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation for the successful research of international importance that is being undertaken to understand the link between obesity and breast cancer. The world is facing an epidemic of breast cancer and New Zealand has one of the highest rates of breast cancer; it also has one of the highest rates of abortion. It is a human tragedy that each year 650 women die in New Zealand from breast cancer.

Every year 2800 women are diagnosed with breast cancer. Ninety five per cent of women contracting breast cancer are over the age of forty. Right to Life requests that in the interest of women’s health the Cancer Society and the Breast Cancer Foundation urgently fund research into the abortion breast cancer link. Abortion promotes a culture of death and is a war against women and their precious unborn. Our women have a right to know that not only does an abortion kill their child it may also painfully kill them too. [Read more…]
