March for Life Christchurch 2024

The March for Life Christchurch is an annual event to come together in a prayerful and peaceful support of the most vulnerable of us, our unborn children.

This year's event will take place on Saturday 28th September 2024 gathering at Victoria Square from 1 pm and marching at 2 pm. We will march for around 30 to 40 minutes and return to the square to hear from Pro-Life leaders. 

​

A key aim of this year's march is to gain support for the repeal of the extreme Abortion Legislation Act 2020 which allows abortion up to birth. 

​

Since 2020 March for LIfe Christchurch has been a voice for the voiceless in our city, bearing witness to the 600,000 New Zealand unborn children who have lost their lives to abortion since the 1970's

​

The March has been jointly organised since 2020 by a number of Pro-Life organisations including Right to Life, Voice for Life and Prolife University of Canterbury. This 2024 year Right to Life is organising this event.
