Stand for Real Marriage Applauded – Bob McCoskrie Resigns as Marriage Celebrant

Right to Life applauds the resignation of Bob MCCoskrie as a marriage celebrant.  This principled action is taken in defence of marriage as exclusively between one man and one woman as instituted by our Creator. The human race since the dawn of creation has always known that marriage is for one man and one woman.

Only a man can make a woman a mother and a wife and only a woman can make a man a father and a husband. Every child deserves to be loved and raised by their biological parents.

The majority of the community strongly opposed the usurpation of authority by our Parliament to redefine marriage. It was a cruel hoax inflicted on the homosexual community; they deserve better. The community will never ever accept this misguided attempt by our Parliament to change the law of God. We have a duty to our community and to future generations to oppose this unjust law.

Right to Life encourages all marriage celebrants both religious and civil to follow the noble example of Bob MCCoskrie. We should not rest until this unjust law is repealed.
