For many years Right to Life New Zealand has been working to inform about the terrible plight of thousands upon thousands of unborn New Zealand children who have been killed by abortion in New Zealand. These deaths, stemmed from law changes made in 1977, which we believe have been abused.

Right to Life is working towards gaining protection for unborn children and links with other organisations who provide alternatives to abortion.

Our work is solely funded by members of our society and others,  who make generous gifts towards protecting our unborn and unwell.

Right to Life is also now working on behalf of others in our society, whose lives are increasingly at risk, including the unwell and elderly.  So far NZ has rejected Physician Assisted Suicide and Euthanasia but this is an area where human life is coming more and more under direct attack.

Currently we are involved in an action against the government’s Abortion Supervisory Committee, which we are fighting in the High Court. This legal action has been expensive and is likely to incur more costs. Right to Life has also recently produced a number of television advertisements which we would like to air on national TV. Lobbying MP’s, running our website and our education campaigns also incur costs.
