The NSU has never consulted with any individuals with Down syndrome about eugenic screening. The NZDSA and Parent to Parent have had input into training the trainers for these workshops, but the NSU is refusing to allow parent advocates the oppurtunity to speak at these workshops. Off course any programme of eugenics such as this has now place in civilised society. It would be great if RTL supporting health professionals could attend.
