It was about a hardpressed solo mum in South Auckland who lived in a state house...with eight lovely wee children! And I'm proud to say that Labour supports her. I think I spotted a picture of the Blessed Virgin Mary in her bedroom, which implies to me that she may be a Catholic and a pro-lifer. Predictably, the radical anti-welfare libertarian lobby is throwing up its hands in horror that anyone could have so many children (rather than abort them?) What a wonderful testimony to the culture of life this is! I’ve just watched the most wonderful news item.
