Surely the same issues face us here in New Zealand
First it was going to be only those who were dying and wanted to who would be euthanased.
The Right to die they said, was a human right
Next it was those who were dying, did not want to but were anyway.
Welcome to the brave new world.
When Gianna Jessen was born, the abortionist was trying to kill her not deliver her. But she survived a saline abortion attempt on her life. Since surviving she has grown up to be hated by many. Why? Because her very survival and her life exposes every aspect of the Pro-Choice lie; Recently Gianna gave a 16 minute talk on abortion at the Victorian Parliament. This video is now on You Tube and is powerful and disturbing. If this two part video does not touch your heart and spur you to action then as some have commented you may not need prayer but resurrection.
Up to 200 delegates representing almost 70 family-focused organisations are gathering in Auckland tomorrow (Monday) for the third annual NZ Forum on the Family, hosted by Family First NZ.
Steve Dunne of the Jeremiah Trust is committed to the cause of the unborn child in this country. His organisation has produced 18,000 copies of a poster entitled “The challenge of the 18,000”. He makes the following statement.
“For a land whose tourism board advertises itself as 100 pure, nothing could be further than the truth. New Zealand has blood on its self righteous hands from 18,000 unborn babies each year who are killed. Even if children survive the horror of abortion the culture of death continues to brood over the 30,000 CYF’s uplifts of children who are abused beaten and bruised by parents, care-givers and relatives.
Steve calls for an end to the oppression of abortion and child abuse and to this end he has produced this poster that calls for all Christians in this country to call out and to pray to God for and end to this horror.
The poster can be downloaded as a PDF document by clicking here.
Focus on the Family New Zealand will be holding their first All for Life Conference in Nelson this October. Details are given below.
This conference will be held at the Tahuna Beach Function Centre, Nelson, from October 24–26th (Labour Weekend)
Focus on the Family believe that human life is created by God in His image. It is of inestimable worth and significance in all its dimensions, including the pre-born, the aged, those deemed unattractive, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other condition in which humanness is expressed from the single cell stage of development to natural death. Christians are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life. So we’d love you to join us for the inaugural All 4 Life Conference
