Jacinda Ardern wants to govern our country. Those who govern do so with the permission of the governed. The electorate has a right to know what credentials she has, what skills she has to govern and the right to ensure she provides full disclosure of her proposed policies. The media have failed the community by omitting to investigate her previous nine years in Parliament, to question her agenda and to provide this information to the electorate.
Jacinda Ardern has been in Parliament for nine years. What has she achieved? What impact has she had on select committees on which she has sat? What legislation has she drafted or influenced? She claims to be in Parliament to reduce child poverty. What has she done in nine years to reduce child poverty? She has produced one private members bill, the Child Poverty Reduction and Eradication bill: It was a one liner.
Jacinda Ardern contested the Auckland Central electorate in the 2011 and 2014 elections and failed to win the seat. What has she achieved for that electorate?
Jacinda Ardern was President of the International Socialist Youth in 2008/9. She oversaw the two permanent working groups promoting the feminist and LGBT agendas internationally. The natural family is the foundation of a healthy society, it is the source of the next generation. The international leaders of the LGBT movement have made it clear that the destruction of the natural family of exclusively one woman and one man is their ultimate objective. Jacinda Ardern has refused to declare that she will protect and promote the natural family. It is thus reasonable to ask her whether she opposes or supports the destruction of the natural family.
Jacinda Ardern has in a breathtaking presidential style changed the Labour party’s policy on abortion. There is now to be no review of the law. Abortion is to be decriminalised with a government bill and taken out of the Crimes Act. She has announced her final solution to dealing with unwanted and inconvenient unborn children. Her solution is to declare that the unborn are not human beings and are the property of the mothers to be disposed of as they wish. She believes that it should no longer be a crime to kill an unborn child. Jacinda Ardern refuses to answer why she is determined to ignore the findings of a Royal Commission which concluded that the unborn child was the weakest and most defenceless member of the human family and deserved to be protected by law from implantation. If victims are killed with little trace, if they have no voice, or are simply not heard, then the scene is set for the perfect crime. Perfect, because it is not even recognised as a crime anymore, but as a service to humanity. Why does she see the unborn as the enemy and a threat to society? The community has a right to know why she believes killing an unborn child is not a crime.
New Zealand would be unwise to elect Jacinda Ardern to govern New Zealand. She is a clear threat to the lives of the unborn, the weakest and most defenceless members of the human family and to the health of their mothers. She supports the law being changed to allow doctors to kill their patients or assist in their suicide. A Jacinda Ardern led government also clearly presents a threat to the most vulnerable members of our community, the aged, the disabled and the seriously ill.
Right to Life.
