Breast Cancer research charity Komen under pressure from Planned Parenthood following funding cut decision

The largest funder of breast cancer research in the nation has ended its controversial ties with Planned Parenthood. Susan G. Komen for the Cure has announced that it is shutting the door on funding the abortion giant after seven years of pressure from pro-life Americans. However this has created such a furore among Pro-abortion supporters that the charity is under enormous pressure to reverse that decision. Planned Parenthood told the Komen Foundation, “Either give us money or we will destroy you.” They were aided and abetted in this hostage-taking by the mainstream media.     The organisation “I Stand With Komen” contains a statement giving further details.

The decision to cut funding is very good news as Komen was funding abortion when numerous studies have pointed to a strong link between abortion and increased risk of breast cancer.

The cut-off of funding is the result of the charity’s newly adopted criteria barring grants to organizations that are under investigation by local, state or federal authorities. Planned Parenthood is currently under investigation by  authorities to determine allegations that Planned Parenthood, which is the largest abortion provider in the US, handles criminal conduct improperly, and has mishandled federal funding to pay for abortions.

The very  latest news from the US (Feb 3)  is that there is a danger that the Komen charity may cave in to the mafia like pressures applied by Planned Parenthood and the media who are right now leaning on Komen’s CEO Nancy Brinkler to just let this go.  You can help by contacting / emailing Nancy  Brinkler at Komen and expressing your support for the decision.

      “Pro-abortion”
I don’t think anyone will class themselves as ‘pro-abortion’.

But I do find it funny that anyone that is pro-life will go against saving women’s lives.

But lucky Komen has reversed the decision:

    • Firstly many many people would say they were pro-abortion. Secondly you say that you ‘find it funny’ that anyone who is pro-life would go against saving women’s lives. Actually we don’t know of any pro-life person who would be against saving women’s lives. Can you please clarify what you are trying to say.
