His response to an election questionnaire sent to him by Bob McCoskrie of Family First, is of great concern. Here is why
He is opposed to legislation that defines marriage as being between one man and one woman.
He is opposed to policies that promote marriage.
He is opposed to the right to life of unborn children.
He is opposed to parental notification for teen pregnancies.
He is opposed to abstinence and parental – based sex education.
He supports the destruction of human embryos for stem cell research.
He supports same sex adoption by non-biological adults.
He is unsure about legalising surrogacy.
He is opposed to repeal of Prostitution Act.
It is also not generally known that peter voted in 1986 in support of the Homosexual Reform Act.
In June 2008 Peter gave an interview to Gordon Campbell, the political reporter for Scoop. In that interview he expressed strong support for the decriminalisation of abortion. This interview is available on the internet.

I’m sorry, Ken, but so what if he voted in support of homosexual law reform?
I’m an advocate of the “pro-life first” philosophy. If Mr Dunne voted against the protection of the unborn child, stem cell
pseudo-science, or for the abolition of protections against assisted suicide, then *that* is
why pro-lifers should vote against him. He is pro-abortion.
Incidentally, what about Family First’s own classification of
support for binding citizens
referenda as a ‘pro-family’ stance? It certainly isn’t a *pro-life* one, though- what about the introduction of euthanasia in Oregon and Washington state through exactly that pathway?
Pro-lifers should express our concern to Mr McCoskrie about that issue.
