Through my work, I have seen a glimpse of this. I can tell you that sadly, to state that "Abortion...is the ultimate in child abuse" is very far off the mark. In fact it strikes me as a rank and uninformed assumption. I put it to you to consider which is the crueler act - aborting an unplanned pregnancy, or knowingly bringing an unwanted child into a family that offers it a childhood filled with violence, abuse, neglect and dysfunction?
