If they take a life, they deserve to lose theirs. (In the case of abortion - I would even go as far as to say that not only the mother, but also the doctors performing it, and anyone who refers them for it or knowingly assists them in getting to it (eg: a parent/partner who drives them to the appointment), should also be at least guilty of being an accomplice to murder, and get at the least a significant jail sentence). In any other case, no. Life in prison (literally - imprisonment until natural death with no chance of parole), yes, capital punishment, no.
